An exceptionally rare & fine antique Dutch hand painted bombe shaped rosewood jar.. The base is of bombe shape to the front and sides, with sumptuous hand paint of flowering damask. The base of reverse ogee shape and having corresponding hand paint, the cellarette is raised on square wooden frame.
